BASK EventsGeneral Meetings[Hyperlinks} We invite you to attend one of our monthly general meetings! They are free and open to the public: you don't need to be a BASK member in order to attend. At our general meetings, you will hear tales: from fellow paddlers who venture in sea kayaks in the San Francisco Bay and the open Pacific Ocean...from folks who just got into the sport to salty types with decades of adventuring experience...from paddlers who favor pleasant scenic flat-water Bay paddles to endurance athletes doing long-distance sea kayaking paddles to adrenaline junkies enjoying rock gardening, surfing, and storms...and from day-trippers to kayakers embarking on multi-day trips. BASK meetings regularly feature either a guest or club member speaker. BASK meetings strives to inspire, educate, and foster our vibrant sea kayaking community with a variety of skills and interest levels. The next BASK general meeting is usually listed on the home page, and you can also see a list of the many fascinating speakers who have presented at past meetings. Planning MeetingsIn addition to the general meetings, we conduct monthly planning meetings, where we discuss and plan the club's policies, activities, and communications. Meetings are currently via teleconference. See the members-only calendar for more details.
